One of the confusing times for me, when i will buy a Pizza, is to choose between 2 Medium Pizza or 1 Large Pizza..
Randomly watching youtube in a sparetime, I interested in a video, which the name, if I am not wrong, Pizza Theory. Its video is explaining how to maximize the money we have when we buy a Pizza.
I will try to summarize the video for easier understanding.
We will see Pizza price from one of the biggest Pizza Francise in Indonesia.
Personal Rp 34.000
Medium Rp. 74.000
Large Rp 105.000
All price, I mentioned before, is for regular pizza without additional side bread.
The Size of personal pizza is 6 Inch, Medium 12 Inch, and Large 14 Inch.
To get maximum pizza with our money we have to know the square area all of Pizza. We use circle square area formula to calculate.
Personal = 3,14 x 6 x 6 = 113,04
Medium = 3,14 x 12 x 12 = 452,16
Large = 3,14 x 14 x 14 = 615,44
We will devide the price and the square area, the result are
Personal = Rp. 301 per Inch Square
Medium = Rp. 164 per Inch Square
Large = Rp. 171 per inch Square
As you can see, the cheapest Rupiah per Inch Square is for Medium Pizza. This will be vary regarding the price and the sizes of pizza, but you know the concept so it will easier to applied at any situation.
